对外经济贸易大学保险学院副教授(已退休)。中南财经政法大学经济学博士学位，英国保诚保险公司香港分公司学术访问。保险公估人资质持证人。

主要研究方向包括世界保险史、世界金融史、风险管理与保险、保险经营管理、金融风险管理。主要教学课程包括风险管理与保险、保险经营管理、金融风险管理

Shuyan Zhang  

Associate Professor (retired), School of Insurance, University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). She holds a PhD in Economics from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and has been an academic visitor at the Hong Kong branch of Prudential Insurance Company (UK). She is a certified insurance adjuster and a researcher at the China Insurance History and Culture Research Center. As an editorial board member for *The World History of Insurance*, her primary research area is the historical development of deposit insurance. Other research interests include the history of global insurance, world financial history, risk management and insurance, insurance operations management, and financial risk management.

She has taught courses such as *Risk Management and Insurance*, *Insurance Operations Management*, and *Financial Risk Management*.
