Han Xue

Han Xue joined Swiss Re in July 2020 as Vice President, Asia Executive, and committee member of Swiss Re China. With the approval of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, Han Xue has been 2021 as Deputy General Manager of Swiss Re's Beijing branch since March.

Prior to joining Swiss Re, Han Xue was an actuary at Racq property and casualty, a11IANZ Partners (Allianz Group) , head of actuary for Australia, chief underwriter for North Asia, chief sales and sales officer for China, and general manager of Allianz, he later became president of AXA Partners, a AXA subsidiary, in China.

Han Xue has a wealth of industry insights and experience, with strategic business thinking and practice, he has a strong track record in reserve and liability assessment, underwriting pricing, product innovation, M & A, sales management/cross-platform collaboration, and strategic decision making.

Han Xue is an Australian registered actuary with an honours degree in actuarial science from the Australian National University.
