In March 2010, Renmin University of China and 14 other universities jointly initiated the "China Risk Management and Actuarial Science Discipline Construction Seminar" and decided to hold the " China Risk Management and Actuarial Science Forum " on a regular basis, with the aim of further promoting the development of China's risk management and The aim is to further promote the development of risk management and actuarial science in China, promote academic exchanges and innovate the mode of training talents. At present, Renmin University of China, Nanjing Audit University, East China Normal University, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, Hunan University of Business, Shanghai Finance College, Guangdong Finance College, University of International Business and Economics, Shandong University of Finance and Economics, Renmin University of China, Xiamen University, Central University of Finance and Economics and Southwest University of Finance and Economics have hosted the first to the thirteenth "China Risk Management and Actuarial Science Forum" successively.

The 14th China Risk Management and Actuarial Science Forum and International Conference on Actuarial Science and Insurance will be held at the University of International Business and Economics (Beijing, China) on 22-23 July 2023 (registration on the afternoon of 21st). The Forum will invite renowned academic and industry experts in the field of risk management and actuarial science to participate in this event.

The conference will consist of three parts: invited presentations, session forums and an undergraduate insurance design competition/graduate risk management competition. The Committee welcomes experts, academics, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and members of the risk management and actuarial industries in relevant fields to attend the Forum to share and exchange the latest research and cutting-edge technologies.

To promote the success of the conference, we invite papers and teams of undergraduate and postgraduate students to participate in the conference. The topics of the conference include, but are not limited to: life, pensions and actuarial science; health insurance and actuarial science; agricultural insurance and actuarial science; catastrophe insurance and actuarial science; motor, liability and credit insurance and actuarial science; insurance asset and liability management; enterprise risk management; financial risk management; insurance technology; insurance and actuarial education; etc.

Ø The undergraduate competition is held in teams of three students and focuses on innovation in insurance products.

Ø The postgraduate competition will be held in teams of three students, focusing on risk management solutions, with a PowerPoint presentation by each team, which will be judged by a panel of judges on the basis of the papers and the defense.

      The conference fee will be waived and participants will be responsible for their own transportation and accommodation costs. The Organizing Committee will send formal invitations to the participants, confirm the selected reports and send invitations to the authors to speak at the conference by 30 June 2023.
